The third event in our Showcase series featured internationally renowned speakers, Mark Pesce and Clay Shirky (live broadcast) on the exciting opportunities available to us by being connected, how governments can make the most of these - and what they're doing already.
This event was unique event was presented in partnership with Changemakers Festival - an initiative of The Australian Centre for Social Innovation - which is a celebration of great work happening in Australia and an exploration of the ideas, people, and technologies driving change.

11:30am - Clay Shirky: Author of 'Here Comes Everybody: The Power of Organizing without Organizations'
12:30pm - Gail Fairlamb, Department of the Premier and Cabinet: Innovative ways the SA Government is connecting to the community right now
This was a sold out event where delegates were able to hear some of the most renowned thinkers and speakers in this space.
The event also featured complimentary access to the Starting Good Digital Summit. Better Together Showcase ticket holders were also invited to attend free of charge additional live stream sessions that was broadcast live from the global 'Starting Good Digital Summit' from 7:30am at The Science Exchange including:
